A digital GIS land ownership (cadastral) map database of the entire
state. Parcels and real property are mapped and maintained by
state and county cartographers. Interactive maps and descriptive
data are available on this site for each parcel. Descriptive
data are derived from the Montana Department of Revenue CAMA
(Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal) database.

GIS: Geographic Information System
The Montana Natural Resource Information System Geographic
Information System (GIS) is a clearinghouse for GIS databases
and provides services to groups or individuals needing access to
GIS technology.
b. The Heritage Program is Montana's clearinghouse for
information on Montana's native species and habitats,
emphasizing those of conservation concern. They collect,
validate, and distribute this information, and assist natural
resource managers and others in applying it effectively.
c. The Water Information System is the starting point for
locating water resources information in Montana, such as data on
surface water, groundwater, water quality, riparian areas, water
rights, climate data and more
