LEGAL NOTICE
On Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at 4:00 pm, the Lake County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing in the large conference room of the Lake County Courthouse on the following item:
NOLDE VARIANCE REQUEST
Susan & Edward Nolde are requesting a variance to the definitions of “guest house” and “short-term basis” in the Swan Sites Zoning District. The variance would allow for the use of a guest house as a single-family residence occupied by a family member for more than 30 days. The subject property is 1.13 acres, located at 12835 Sunburst Drive, and is legally described as Lot 22 of Swan Sites No. 1 subdivision, located in Section 11 of Township 26 North, Range 19 West.
The complete application and plans may be viewed at the Lake County Planning Dept, Room 315, of the Lake County Courthouse. The Board of Adjustment encourages the public to attend this meeting and voice comments they may have on the proposal. The Planning Dept will accept written comments on the proposal to be included in the information packets sent to the Board of Adjustment. This comment must be received prior to 5:00 pm on Jan. 30, 2012. Written comments received after that time will be synopsized and read aloud at the meeting. On Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., the Lake County Planning Board will hold a public meeting in the large conference room of the Lake County Courthouse on the following items:
BREWER LAKE ESTATES: PHASE II MAJOR SUBDIVISION
Brewer Family LLC, represented by RJ Brewer, has proposed a major subdivision to create six tracts from 8.44-acres of land located within a “1.5-acres per unit Development Density Region” on the Lake County Density Map. Tracts will range between 1.04 and 2.08-acres for single-family residential use. The property is located approximately 0.6 miles south of Dayton adjacent to US Hwy 93 and Old Hwy 93. Brewer Lake Trail will be upgraded to access the subdivision. Five individual on-site wells with cisterns and one off-site shared well with cistern are proposed to serve the six lots. Each lot will have an on-site septic system installed. Variances are requested to the road design standards for Brewer Lake Trail and landscaping requirements for development adjacent to US Hwy 93. The property is described as Tract B of Black Lake Ranch, the Amended Subdivision Plat of Portions of Tracts 1 and 2 located in the N ½ SW ¼ of Section 10, T24N, R21W. The Planning Board will hold an informational meeting to introduce the project, and a public hearing is scheduled for March.
LAKESHORE CONTINUATION
The Board will continue the discussion from January’s Lakeshore Protection Regulation update work session.
