LEGAL NOTICE
On Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m., the
Lake County Planning Board will hold a public meeting in the large
conference room of the Lake County Courthouse on the following item:
MAJESTIC
VIEWS MAJOR SUBDIVISION
Duane Edward Smith has proposed a 72-unit
major subdivision of a ±20-acre irrigated parcel located within the Pablo
Community Growth Area on the Lake County Density Map. The 72
single-family residential lots would range in size from approximately
6945 to 10,633 square feet, and are proposed to be served by extensions
of the Lake County/Pablo Water and Sewer District infrastructure. The
subject property is located along the west side of Montana Avenue, NW of
the intersection of Montana Ave. and Division St., and is legally
described as the S ½ SE ¼ NW ¼ of Section 11, T21N, R20W. The Planning
Board will hold an informational meeting to introduce the project, and a
public hearing is scheduled for June.
The application materials for the proposal
may be viewed at Lake County Planning Dept, Room 315 of the Lake County
Courthouse. The Lake County Planning Board encourages the public to
attend this meeting and voice comments they may have on the proposal. The
Planning Dept will accept written comment to be included in the Planning
Board information packets. Public comment regarding water and/or sewer
proposals must be submitted in writing to the Lake County Planning Dept.
This comment must be received prior to 5:00 pm on May 5, 2008. Written
comments received after that time will be synopsized and read aloud at
