Amendment Proposal
LEGAL NOTICE
On Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 7:00 p.m., the
Lake County Planning Board will hold a public
hearing in the large conference room of the Lake
County Courthouse on the following item:
HISTORIC KOOTENAI LODGE CONDOMINIUM SUBDIVISION
Paul Milhous and Kootenai Associates have proposed
to amend the preliminary approval of the above
referenced condominium subdivision on a 41± acre
parcel historically known as the Kootenai Lodge. The
proposed amendment includes a reduction in the
number of units from 57 to 42, a modified design for
the internal roadways, and an alternative location
for the off-site sewage treatment and disposal. The
residential property is located 1400 Sunburst Drive
in the area of the Swan Sites Subdivisions that is
legally described as Tract B of Amended Plat of Lot
128, Swan Sites No. 1 Subdivision, within Sec. 11
and 14, T26N, R19W. The offsite sewage treatment and
disposal site is located on a Broken Leg Road at the
intersection of Halverson Road; It is legally
described as the S½ S½ of the SW¼ of Section 1,
Township 26N., Range 19W.
The application materials for the proposals may be
viewed at Lake County Planning Department, Room 315
of the Lake County Courthouse. The Lake County
Planning Board encourages the public to attend this
meeting and voice any comments they may have on the
proposals. The Planning Department will accept
written comment to be included in the Planning Board
information packets. Any public comment regarding
water and sewer proposal for the division must be
submitted in writing to the Lake County Planning
Department. This comment must be received prior to
5:00 p.m. on February 23, 2006. Written comments
received after that time will be synopsized and read
