Our Mission:
Our mission is to protect the public's health by preventing avoidable illness, injury, disability, and premature death, while protecting our environment and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Disease Reporting

The core role of the Lake County Health Department is to protect the health of the general public. The HD does this by following up on reported cases of infectious diseases and disease outbreaks, by offering immunizations and by being an information resource to the public and medical community.
