The Board of Lake County Commissioners is the governing body for the County. Their duties include budgeting, administering personnel policies for county employees and conducting public hearings on a variety of land use topics. The Road Department is directly under supervision of the Commissioners who set policies for road maintenance and construction. The Commissioners meeting days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Commissioners are located on 2nd floor of the Courthouse, room 211.
